Head Golf Professional at Wachusett

1941-2003
Vin Obey started the Wachusett four ball in 1945. For many years Vin watched over the club and its happenings from his corner table in the window signing up participants for the four ball, club championship and the Worcester County Amateur.  He represented Wachusett and the PGA with class

Fred and his wife Nancy considered Wachusett home. The Hannan family tradition continued with his grandchildren Jess and Karli Kazanovicz working at Wachusett in the proshop and the Ross Tavern.

 

Vin OBey and Fred Hannan will be remembered and honored at our annual Labor Day tournament in September.
